This year, to celebrate Mum’s birthday, I wanted to host an intimate afternoon tea at home for our immediate family. It had to be intimate because our flat is pretty small and we simply just don’t have the space to host more than 6 people comfortably 😫 The space constraint means that I don’t host very often, so this was kind of a big deal for me!
I decided to do a pink theme… pink plates, napkins and of course flowers and balloons!
The menu vibe was easy food, simply because I’m not a big chef 🙈 Bagels, dip, crackers, crisps… even *I* can’t go wrong!
The piece de resistance was of course the cake, that I had asked to be topped with all of Mum’s favourite chocolate bars!
I think she enjoyed herself…. 😆
